The Young Peoples' Opera Society of BC is committed to the performance of opera for young people by young people with the support of professionals. Young performers learn to appreciate the beauty of the music of opera and experience the pleasure of performing in this great art form. They are taught to develop new works and are encouraged to learn all aspects of stage craft. We are dedicated to training future stars and developing enthusiastic opera audiences. We believe these activities will enrich the lives of all who participate.
